Many of you have probably heard that in Germany there are two educational options available as alternatives to studying, namely dual studies and apprenticeships. Both offer a good combination of theory and practice to prepare graduates for the job market. But what are the differences? What makes the most sense for you? A few points are summarized here.

- Training + studies in 3 years;
- A professionally qualifying and internationally recognized degree (Bachelor);
- Entry as a manager
Training
- Learn the profession from scratch
- Less stringent requirements and better career opportunities;
- A wide selection of apprenticeships;
- Part-time study after training
To make a sensible decision, you should ask yourself the following questions right from the start:
- Are you willing and able to learn the dry theory and actively participate in group work?
- What is more important to you, simple work or challenging tasks?
- Do you really want to get a degree?
